These events included the Cruise at the beg-inning- of the year, the Mountain Trip, and a skirt and sweater dance, all of which form a memorable part of the school year. Christmas Carnival The International theme for the Christmas Carnival provided a marvelous opportunity for both students and faculty to use their ing-enuity to create many different articles to sell. Those of us who have special literary interests meet Friday afternoons to discuss and select pieces of creative writing and art submitted by the students for a maga- zine which is published at the end of the year. Since Ivy Vine provides a chance for students to learn how to best express themselves, members also do some writing during the meetings. DRAMA GROUP The Drama Group is open to any girl in the Upper School who wishes to become acquainted not only with dramatic techniques but also with the literature of the theatre.
