The members are elected by Seven to provide an educational system for their children. Education is responsible for the executive management and administration of Dear- born Heights School District No. 7 and its properties, facilities and personnel. Since the Board members are lay people, they appoint the superintendent of schools to serve as the administrative head of the school system.
