VALENTI Second Division Officer I I O ecavwl wwcaw Second Division has the responsibility of maintaining all deck preservation and upkeep of the ANNAPOLIS' boats, providing boat crews for the Captain's Gig, Officers' Motor Boat and utility boats, the scheduling of boats for official, recreation and liberty purposes. Personnel maintain the deck upkeep of boats while at sea, and pro- vide personnel for flight quarters, lifeboat and lookout watches during sea periods. Second Division is respon- sible for the upkeep and deck maintenance of the for- ward port and starboard sponsons, catwalk and deck superstructures and assists in all replenishment executions. First Lieutenant is 62445 dadadcm First Division is responsible for the anchor windlass and its associated deck tackle. The evolutions of towing, mooring to a buoy, anchoring and other forecastle duties are conducted in an outstanding manner. All Deck Department storerooms are maintained by First Division personnel along with the antenna deck and catwalk structures. First Division also utilizes personnel in manning gun mounts, underway watches and in-pOI f deck duties.
