Fisch, Jr. Electronics Maintenance Assistant Electronics Officer Maintenance Officer CGMMUNICATIGN ELECTRONICS CE Division comprises two major groups, that of teletype repair and the other being electronic repair. The Electronic Repair is again divided into three main shops, trans- mitters, receivers and cryptographic repair. Teletype repair shop cleans, adjusts and repairs the ship's teletype equipment amount- ing to almost 600 different units. In addition, the shop has provided cleaning and repair services to many ships of the Seventh Fleet while in port. Transmitter Repair Shop has responsibility of maintaining ship's tactical equipment in- cluding radar, fathometer, loran plus all shipboard transmitters and antennas. Receiver Repair Shop maintains all of the ship's receivers, teletype converters and re- ceiving antennas. Cryptographic Repair Shop maintains all of the ship's electronic cryptographic equip- YUCHYS, terminal equipments plus a myriad of writing and cabling throughout electronic spaces. ll J
