The Homecoming queen candidates -- Kerri, Lisa, Debbie, Stacey, Lisa, and Carla - pose before the parade Cay. This year's parade had many participants such as the freshman float Cbj, the sophomore float Ccj, and the senior float Cdj. George and Susan, the Master and Mistress of Ceremonies rode in the parade Cej, as did the JV Cheerleaders Cfj, and the Varsity Cheerleaders Qgb. The Anna- Jonesboro Marching Wildcat Band gave an excellent performance fhj and was led by drum major, Aaron Longdon CD. The Wildcat Band was one of the highlights of this year's parade QD.

Hat Dau, LLlE5tErn Dau. Funl-i-Fiuizl-i Dau, Class Enmpetitiuns - ll These Fling in Spirit LLIEEH ' 1 One of the many activities of this year's joyous Spirit Week was Hat Day. On this day one could see any kind of hat imaginable for the students at A-J are very creative. Julie Agne Cab was especially creative. Another highlight of Spirit Week was Western Day. Carla Ragan Cbb and Renee O'Daniel CCD chose to depict the cowgirl side of the day while Sally Whitehead was a colorful Indian Cdj. Punk-Rock Day was another interesting and exciting day in this week. Students dressed as punk-rockers, and the strange thing about this day was that the teachers didn't notice anything different. Doug Weaver gets the rope ready for the tug-of-war during the afternoon feb. Julie Agne, Patty Womack, Stephanie Hase, and Marla Ragan dressed as an especially interesting group Qfj. Even Angela Semrnelroggen, our ex- change student from Germany, joined in the fun Cgl. Tracy Little and Ab- by Belcher are behind those sunglasses in case you can't tell Chj.
