SILENCE ALONE
There IS no utterance for love or death
Words cannot speak for gnef or ecstasy
They must stand by hke xmpotent pale ghosts
When hearts are blest or Stflke verlly
No eloquence 1S adequate to tell
Of beauty man IS mute as any clod
Of earth before an elemental truth
He has no work that gwes a hmt of God
S1lence alone IS great enough to hold
A thmg so real xt never can be told

I believe in Anna High School as an edu-
Sponsoring a project as complex as pro-
ducing a school annual is always a challenging
undertaking. The seniors are to be congratu-
lated upon the business-like approach, the
concerted effort, and the excellent achieve-
ment demonstrated in the production of the
Anna Rocketeer.
Mr. Stewart
ANNA HIGH SCHOOL CREED
cational institution symbolizing the ideals of
Americanism.
I believe in the efficiency of its faculty,
who are perpetuating higher education in ev-
ery branch of study.
I believe in the student body, who as fu-
ture citizens, shall have qualities to assume
the responsibilities of a great nation.
I believe in her ideals and her future
growth.
I do most firmly believe this without lim-
it or restriction.
