THOMAS G. GREEN: Tom, a graduate of Slauson, was active in sports at AAHS. He received letters in both football and baseball. Tom was also a member of the Washington Club. Model-railroading is included among Tom's outside interests. He plans to talce engineer- ing at the U. of M. after graduation. dr xi' X ff I .0 ,Q-ay. E X NEAL E. GROB: Neal, a graduate of Tappan Jr. High, was on the honor roll the maiority of his time at Ann Arbor High. He has a iob as a stock boy at Swift's Drug Store, and his future plans include A becoming a painter. Neal lists hunting and fishing as his favorite hobbies. ROBERT A. GROB: Bob came to AAHS from Tappan. He ioined a number of clubs among which were the Rifle and Square Dance Clubs. He is interested in coins, and one of his hobbies is collecting ff... them. lf he doesn't go on to college, Bob plans to enlist in either the Army or Navy. JANET l. GROOMES: Janet came to AAHS from Slauson Junior High School. She was a member of homeroom C-9, and served as its Student Council representative. She participated in the Scribblers, Square Dance and Washington Clubs. Janet was on the Assembly Committee. Her future plans are indefinite. ,X I TN RAYMOND A. GROSS: Ray an honor student, participated in intra- Tu mural football and was on the JV swimming team at AAHS. He was a member of the Student Council and the orchestra. Ray was also in Table Tennis, Rifle and Rod and Reel Clubs. He plans to attend A the U. of M. after graduation. J Q DAVID J. GURK: Dave came to Ann Arbor High from Slauson Junior High School. He was a member of the Washington Club, and was X also treasurer of his homeroom. ln his spare time, Dave worked at V, the soda fountain in Fenn's Drug Store. After graduation he plans to enter the military service. ,Egg Y Era NOREEN M. GUSTINE: Noreen was the president of the GAC and 1' served on its executive board. She was a member of the band and ia Y won a letter and a pin. Noreen participated in the Washington Club . and was on the Omega staff. She was her homeroom's secretary and A , ' treasurer. Noreen plans to attend college. ELEANOR F. GUTHRIE: Eleanor represented her homeroom on Student J 3 V Q f Council, Red Cross, and Washington Club. She was active in GAC 46, A '- .Q lr where she earned a letter. She also belonged to the Table Tennis N! Hug h, Club. Eleanor is interested in records, traveling and sports. She plans to study dental hygiene at the U. of M. 1 A 5 SUSAN G. HADCOCK: Susie has many outside interests such as sailing, swimming, skiing, riflery and riding. She' attended Central High in Bay City, Michigan, before entering Ann Arbor High. She f plans' to enroll in the University of Michigan after graduation. Susie -ai.. is an active member of the Presbyterian Youth Fellowship. ' JOHN C. HAEUSSLER: Jack was a member of the marching band and received a band letter. He participated in swimming and tennis and received Junior Varsity awards in these sports. Jack belonged to the Washington, Science and Square Dance Clubs. He plans to attend Eden Seminary in Elmhurst, lllinois. DEANNA K. HAGEN: Deanna was en enthusiastic club member as .Vu,.?.,. . . . ,WEN . if-if' , .1 gffgg., she belonged to the Square Dance Club, Bowling Club and Table k ggfpias Tennis Club. She also participated in A Cappella and the assembly iii' committee. Horseback riding and swimming head her list of outside activities. Deanna plans to attend the U. of M. NANCY J. HAGUE: Nancy, a graduate of Slauson Junior High School, was interested in dramatics and participated in- two school plays for 'V-A P which she won an award. She was active in GAC and Washington il, F 5 3 and Conservation Clubs. CHARLOTTE J. GASBER: Charlotte attended Madison Junior High in Wheeling, West Virginia, before coming to Ann Arbor. She belonged to the Square Dance Club, and enioyed participating in such extra- curricular sports as horseback riding, swimming and roller skating. Her future plans include work. DALE E. GATZKA: Dale was active in football while at AAHS: he was on the varsity team and received football letters. His varied interests included Record Club, Washington Club and Bowling Club. He was a member of the Party Committee. Dale plans to attend Michigan State College. sp'-fn ' ' f' v--w , s LEON P. GAUSS: Leon rates bowling and hunting tops on his list gf ' .- . of outside interests. He was a member of the Washington Club, and Q, ll, . his name appeared on the honor roll a majority of the time that ' u It he attended AAHS. Leon would like to continue his schooling where V r he can learn the machinist trade. xo QQ . H .Q SUE F. GAY: Sue participated in Dramatics, the Square Dance and Q ji , G Washington Clubs. She is interested in nursing, therefore she was 8- If a member of the Red Cross Committee and worked at the hospital. ' ' Sue likes horseback riding and bowling. She plans to go to the U. of y Ks , M. Nursing School. ff. I. CHARLES L. GEE: Chuck is a sports enthusiast, he likes hunting and belonged to the Rod and Reel Club at AAHS. He participated in wrestling during his sophomore year. Chuck served his homeroom G as its treasurer. He was a member of the A Cappella Choir and Washington Club. EUGENE E. GERSTLER: Eugene came to AAHS from Slauson Junior High School. While in high school he was employed at the Michigan Union as a bellhop. Included among his outside interests are hunting and fishing, and his favorite sport is hockey. Eugene plans to work after graduation from Ann Arbor High. . PAUL L. GERSTLER: Paul graduated from Slauson Junior High School ' ' Q- before coming to Ann Arbor High School. One o fhis many outside S interests is hunting, and he also enjoys fishing in his leisure time. , Z, He is undecided about what to do after graduation from Ann Arbor 1 V - E I 5- 1 High School. ' l V 5 LEONARD W. GRAF: Leonard attended Tappan Junior High School 1 l before coming to Ann Arbor High School. He participated in the V ' : Bowling Club and iunior varsity football. Leonard belonged to the ' , youth board of his church. He plans to enroll at the University of Michigan after graduation. 4 RAYMOND E. GRAHAM: Raymond's activities included the Wash- ington, Rifle, and Bowling Clubs, he also served as a manager for the football and track teams. Raymond is active in the Salvation Army Church, his hobbies are photography, and making airplane and railroad models. Raymond wants to become a draftsman. BEVERLY S. GRAY: Bev attended Slauson Junior High School before coming to Ann Arbor High School. She was an active member of the band and ioined the Washington Club, the Archery Club, and J the Rifle Club. One of Bev's outside interests is tropical fish. She is undecided about her future plans. THOMAS L. GRAY: After coming from Slauson Junior High School, ' in V M Tom became active in many school functions. Some of these were - - iq V' V l , Hi-Y and Intramural Managers Committee. Besides being vice-president Q' .' of his homeroom, B-4, he was a member of the wrestling team. .Qi ii ELAINE J. GREEN: Elaine, an honor student, served as vice-president, 1-'R ...n secretary, and treasurer of her homeroom while at AAHS. She was ,- x ,. Q j a Washington Club representative and an active member of GAC. , i 'L Elaine also was in A Cappella and Cantando. EUGENE HALL: Eugene came to Ann Arbor High from Starkville, Mississippi. At Ann Arbor High he was an active member of the Hi-Y Club and also participated in the Rifle Club. Eugene lists sports as one of his many outside interests. ln the future, he plans to play professional football. LAWRENCE E. HALL: Larry represented AAHS at Boy's State. He showed his interest in science, music, and sports by ioining Science Club, A Cappella Choir, and participating in intramural football and Q. wrestling. Besides these he also was on Party Committee and active - -af in the Methodist Youth Fellowship. Larry plans to attend the U. of M. ajft '19, - 5 JANET F. HAMMER: Janet was active in sports and served as Eu ,I 3 A r varsity cheerleader. She belonged to GAC, Bowling Club and the 1 ' st., gvqgl 'i'. X' Ann Arbor Figure Skating Club. Janet did not limit her extra-curricular 6 ' V I activities to sports, but was also in the Washington Club, on the p ' l Party Committee and the Omega Staff. She plans to attend college. f LINDA A. HAMMOND: Linda came to high school from Slauson Junior High. She participated in both the Square Dance and Rifle 'V '- M ' Clubs. She also sang in the Cantando Choir. Outside of school Linda's U main interests are swimming and rodeos. She plans to work after .IOANN M. HANSEN: Jo participated in a number of activities while at Ann Arbor High. She was in the Bowling, Record and Washington Clubs, and served on the Intramural Managers Committee, the Assem- bly Committee and the Party Committee. Jo plans to attend business college after graduation. graduating from high school. I . V. JOAN HANSEN: In her years at AAHS Joan joined the Conser- servation, German, and Archery Clubs. She was active in GAC, was secretary of her homeroom, and was on the Omega Staff. Joan plays the piano and violin and is active in 4-H work. She plans to attend college in the future. PATRICIA A. HARDEN: Pat came to AAHS from Tappan. She was a member of Cantando, GAC, the Bowling Club and the Washington Club. Patt was employed at the Merit Shoe Store as both a clerk and a cashier. Bowling and ice-skating are among her favorite hobbies. Patt plans to attend Indiana College. sl. qw. JEFF A. HARE: Jeff served on both the junior and senior class Q executive boards. He was a member of the Student Council and was 'f also president of his homeroom. Jeff was a member of the varsity I N basketball team and also participatd in tennis. He plans to attend 5,15 ' either Northwestern or the U. of M. xl-' -' EDITH A. HAWLEY: Before coming to Ann Arbor High Edith attended A -' Slauson Junior High. She was in the Square Dance Club and her -,N favorite hobby and pastime is dancing. Edith was on COT and worked 33 '- :Z Q . - as a salesgirl at the Cousins Shop. After graduation, she plans to A , ' l ' S' t- .ql continue working. f b xi HARLAN A. HAYWOOD: Harlan was a member of the orchestra, ,MW - W president of the high school band, and received a band letter. He 1 if ' served his homeroom on both the Student Council and Presidents s I Committee. Harlan participated in baseball, basketball and football 'E' while at AAHS. He plans to attend the U. of M. ' CATHERINE J. HEDLESKY: Catherine came to Ann Arbor High from Slauson Junior High School. She was an active member of the Bowling Club and also participated in the Girls Athletic Club. After Catherine graduates from Ann Arbor High School, she is planning to be married. NANCY C. HEDLESKY: Nancy came to Ann Arbor High School from van Slauson. She was a member of the Scribblers' Club and GAC. Nancy worked in the principal's office as a clerk. Ice skating is her favorite hobby. She plans to attend Michigan State Normal College after graduation from high school. ,-
