While at high school, he played on the varsity baseball team gf ,fx for two years, and he also participated in football. Arnold played -- hockey in the Ann Arbor amateur league for three years. His future plans include college. ' WILLIAM .I. DARWIN: Bill is very interested in sports and likes to : hunt and fish. He earned a letter in football and played in intramural sports. DAVIS: Billie came to Ann Arbor High from Tappan Junior High School. He was a member of homeroom A-20 and took an active part on the cross country team. He is very interested in uv photography as a hobby. Billie is undecided about his future plans 35 ' , after graduation from high school. 0 LLOYD E. DAVIS: Lloyd, who came to Ann Arbor High from Tappan Junior High, was a member of Homeroom C-18. His favorite activities outside of schoolginclude working on model airplanes, hunting and fishing. Although he is not too sure of his future plans, he hopes to become an aviator. THOMAS E. DAVIS: Before coming to Ann Arbor High School, Tom X 5 went to Tappan Junior High School. While at AAHS, he was an active , A member of homeroom B-22 and worked at the Michigan Union as W a bellhop. DAVIS: Bill, with many varying interests, was in Art ' L: ' and Bowling Clubs and was elected vice-president of his homeroom. I - .L N Collecting stamps and playing golf are two of BilI's hobbies. DAWSON: Jack entered AAHS as a iunior, having spent his previous years in St. Thomas High School. He ioined the Record is 'it Club and, besides, records, is particularly interested in roller skating K and swimming. Jack plans to join the Navy when he graduates and ' L , then go on to college. A KATHRYN J. deKONING: During her years at AAHS, Kathy received Trl . a letter in GAC, served on both the Student Council and Presidents' W' ' T, tpfarb, . Committee. She received an award for her work on the Optimist of -- Xpsmf which she became business manager. Kathy plans to go to college . I ' . but hasn't decided yet where she will go. RODERICK N. DICK: Rod came to AAHS from Tappan Junior High. He was a member of the Rifle Club, the Bowling Club and served as the intramural managers representative from his homeroom. ln his spare time he worked at the A 8. P Grocery and enjoyed swimming Q and hockey. CAROLINE M. DIETERLE: Caroline was a member of Optimist, Rifle Club, Washington Club and president of German Club. She earned a letter in GAC and was Student Council representative. Her scholastic record was excellent and she achieved the T5 point honor roll in 1953. She plans to go to fhe U. of M. DENIS P. DONNELLY: Denis belonged to the Popular Records Club and participated in intramural bowling and volleyball. He served his homeroom as Student Council representative. Denis, who has been on the honor roll a maiority of the time at high school, plans to attend the University of Michigan. 1 g. DORIS M. DRAPER: Doris likes to square dance and ioined the - - 5 Square Dance Club. She was also an active member of the Scribblers' - M 32. NJ, V Club. 18 BARBARA JO COPE: Barb served as editor-in-chief of the 1955 Omega. She was president and vice-president of her homeroom. Barb received a letter for her participation in GAC. She was a member of attend the University of Michigan. M. ANN COPLEY: Ann was a member of A Cappella, Cantando, Red Cross Committee, Future Nurses and Science Club. She belongs . - to the Episcopal Church Youth Group and plans to attend Stanford University next year. She enioys painting, and was on the honor roll a maiority of the time she was in high school. -fi ' ' . z e r 'X 51 eye MARTHA D. CRARY: Martha served as treasurer of her homeroom and as Student Council alternate. She also worked on the Omega and participated in Art, Science, Conservation and Washington Clubs. Among Martha's outside interests are Junior Achievement, art and traveling. Her plans include college, f FRANK E. CRAWFORD: Frank, a Slauson graduate, was active on the junior varsity swimming team. He was a member of the band and received a band letter. Frank participated in the Rifle Club and was interested in automobiles. She was a member in the Square Dance and Dramatics Clubs. She was also a member of the Red Cross Committee and participated in the 1955 Washington Club. Carol plans to work or attend business school after graduation. Q. ALICIA SUE CUEN: Sue was an active member of GAC and received . Q, her GAC letter. She also took part in Cantando, Omega, Bowling Q' Club, Washington Club and Intramural Managers Committee. She was on the honor roll a maiority of the time in high school. Her future plans include college. . CAROLYN A. CUMMISKEY: Carolyn served as president and vice- gr, president of her homeroom. She was also active in GAC, holding ' office and winning awards. Her future plans include college. - CHRISTINE CURRY: Christine attended Coleman High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, before coming to AAHS. While at Ann Arbor High she was a member of the Future Nurses Club. Christine rates skating as her top outside interest. Nursing, and teaching school are her X. 1 future plans. JB .... ' GARIE C. DAHLSTROM: Garie came to Ann Arbor High School from Tappan Junior High School. She was a member of the Student Council, the Washington Club and GAC. He was on the Cooperative Occupational Training Program and worked at the Hamburg Lumber Company. Among his outside interests Bill includes hunting. FISHER: Marilyn, a Slauson graduate, served on the Student Council and the Assembly Committee. She belonged to the Square Dance and Washington Clubs. Marilyn was also on the honor roll a maiority of the time at AAHS. After graduation she plans to become a telephone operator. ORAN E. FISHER: Oran came to AAHS from Slauson. He was in the Bowling and Conservation Clubs. Wrestling rates high on his list of sports and he participated in it for two years while in high school. Oran was employed by the Bell Telephone Co. He will attend college when he graduates. ALYCE M. FLINT: Alyce served on the Red Cross, Intramural Man- ,J agers, and Assembly Committees. She also belonged to the Square gtg Dance Club, Cantando, and the Girls Athletic Club. Her hobby con- sisted of collecting coins. She worked at St. Joseph Hospital.
