N 1 SENIOR CLASS Under the leadership of the Senior Class Presiclenl Bill Wenrich and sponsor Mr. Ben Reed, the seniors had a very fruitful year. The sponsored the Carnival Spook House and the annual Senior Prom. STUART G. ABBEY: Mickey came to A.A.H.S. from Madison, Wis- consin. He was president of his homeroom and a member of Student Council. He was active in A Cappella Choir, voice and ensemble and drama workshop. Stuart belonged to the Methodist Youth Fellowship and sang in the church choir. His future plans include college. GEORGE E. ABBOTT: George prepared himself well for his future interest, which is engineering, by working as checker and draftsman for the Micrometrical Manufacturing Company. He is interested in Model railroading, auto electronics and photography. He ioined the Camera Club to learn more about photography. HAROLD T. ACKMOODY: Harold was very interested in sports and participated in basketball, cross country and track. He won letters in these sports and was elected basketball captain in his senior year. Hal belonged to Hi-Y and enioys sporting events. His future plans include college or the armed forces. . jst. 5-5 . ,... t ' '3 . at WILLIAM R. ACKMOODY: Bill showed an active interest in sports W ws' t ll .-,gy while in high school. He was elected captain of the cross country team and earned two letters in the sport. Bill also received letters in track and basketball. After graduation he plans to loin the Army and then attend college. NANCY C. AKEN: Nancy served her homeroom as its vice-president ' and secretary. She participated in the Square Dance Club, Washington Club and Scribblers' Club. In her spare time she worked as an office ' clerk in the high school principal's office. She plans to attend college after graduation. if , Q KAREN R. ALDRIDGE: Karen served on Student Council, Party Com- mittee and Senior Executive Board. She was a member of Science ' Club, Red Cross Committee, and was on both the Optimist and Omega staffs. Karen was on the honor roll during all her time at A.A.H.S., and plans to attend college. COLLEEN M. ALERY: Colleen came to us from East Des Moines High. She belonged to the Bowling Club, Washington Club and Scribblers' Club in her years at Ann Arbor High School. Colleen is interested in sports and especially enjoys bowling. Her future plans include nfl' - .+I 'X 4, q A 'll' 4,5 I attending Michigan Normal College. :N ...I X 4 Lv 9 CYNTHIA E. ALLEN: Cindy's interest in music was shown by her , 8 f- Q' membership in band and orchestra. She also belonged to the Science 5 . Club and the French Club. She served as vice-president of band and wa' . N' ' secretary and treasurer of her homeroom. Her future plans include 1 University of Michigan. attending the f JAMES W. ANDERSON, JR.: Jim played Varsity Football for A.A.H.S. A and participated in basketball. He was elected Vice-President of the .ISF Student Council and served as his homeroom vice-president and coun- cil member. Jim was also active in A Cappella and band. In the future he plans to attend college. . I G RALPH W. ANDERSON: Ralph came to Ann Arbor High School from Q I A Slauson Junior High. He served as president of his homeroom. Ralph t ' was also a member of the Assembly Committee. He is interested in f , 1? hunting and fishing and is fond of boxer dogs. Ralph plans to enter business with his father after graduation. I X EDNA ANKENBRAND: Edna worked in the school attendance office ftn' .ll il t i I and served as treasurer of her homeroom. She was an enthusiastic M V club member and ioined the Chefs', Square Dance and Archery Clubs. --'t'f- f V.,,A Edna particularly likes to swim and roller skate. In the future, she ' plans to work. . ' DAVID K. ANNIS: Dave served as president of his homeroom. He 'Q belonged to Washington Club and the Popular Record Club. He has ,i v A, , ' ' ji been on both the basketball and tennis squads and has earned a Htzyf inet' letter in tennis. Dave is interested in automobiles.
