OSEN We're from Anita and we couldn't be prouder, if you can't hear us now, we'll yell a little louder. This yell and many more could be heard at all the basketball and foot- ball games, home and away, led by the cheerleaders. The six girls were chosen last spring and have been on hand to lead the teams on to victory. The girls attended a cheerleaders clinic at Audubon in November, Six towns were represented and they all learned a lot besides having a lot of fun. The cheerleaders had two candy sales and made some money to make new skirts. They are purple corduroy full circle with white taffets linings. bi :O F TllLETlc5 4+ AV--if I C i t W 1 -Q25 VNQQERX 4 'pk 'V' X' O . 51-K + 4' wx Our Squad BACK ROW Iudlth Exlme Sharon Grxffln Vera Nelsen Judy Parklnson Rosemary Pearson Manager Coach Vlrgll Fry Mxss Darlene Wheatley Chaperone Kay Johnson Jeanette Wleman Melanxe Chadwxck FRONT ROW Jane Parker Shan Robson Barbara Symonds Sherry Parkmson Janet Jewett GIRLS ATHLETICS NAME Ianet Iewett Ioann Dorsey Carla Moore Sharin Robson Iane Parker Sherry Parkinson Iudy Parkinson Peggy Tlcknor Iudy Miner Phyllls Carlson Cheryl Smxther Barbara Symonds Kay Johnson Ieanette Wlemann Team offensive average Team defensive average YEAR QUARTERS FOUL REBOUND 524 465 Phyllls Carlson Peggy Tlcknor Carla Moore Judy Mlner Joann Dorsey Lynn Robxson Cheryl Smxther FREETHROW CONE ATT MADE PERCENT AVER 4 6 2 FIELD GOALS ATT MADE PERCENT 9 Scored 1153 points for the season Opponents scored 1023 against us Placed thlrd ln the conference with 6 4 record Janet Iewett first team all conference forward repeating for third time Sherry Parkinson second team all conference guard Ioann Dorsey second team all conference forward Only freshman so honored Phyllis Carlson received all conference honorable mention as guard Janet Iewett scored 50 points against Cumberland to set school record She broke 51 points against Elllott Placed second ln the County and Sectional tournaments Season record 15 won 7 lost Sponsored by BONNESON S LL GAME TOTAL AVER 8 r own record ln her flnal high school game with its A . . . .
