Inventory of "domestic" and wild animals in A.C.S. Zoo. It is found
that there are more untamed than tamed. Disadvantage to zookeepers.
Election of Yearbook Staff - QBoy! Did they pick the wild oneslll
Kuder tests to determine intellectual interests tin vocations, that is.j
Zoo closed for supporters of Chris Columbus. To celebrate, a Pre-
Columbus Day Hop is held introducing the "Blue Notes" including the
choicest of the most ferocious inhabitants of A.C.S. Zoo, generally those
with the most hot air.
Animals get tired of looking at each other, so they are transported to
Thatcher's for pictures of themselves.
"Benny the Bear," finding life tedious, decides to ride his bicycle
likcitysplit up and down the roads. Cow decides to cross at the same
time. Result? Need we say?
Those beasts with the most dramatic talent put on a play called "Cover-
alls" which proves to be a huge success despite electrical difficulties.
Zookeepers break down under strain and take day off. The worst is yet
to come.
Through influence of zookeepers and zoo alumnae, animals are trans-
ported to Alfred for the Fall Festival with one trusting and athletic
zookeeper. Guess Whom?
Fellow-tame donkeys oblige by putting on exhibition. Did we say
"tame?"
They're really laying it on! The annual College night at Cuba draws
Senior and Junior divisions of zoo.
Hurray! The Red Raiders defeat Nunda division with flying colors in
the first basketball game of the 1955-1956 season.
Thanksgiving - Extra nuts for elephants, bananas for chimps etc.
Time for quarrels Qbetween animals and zookeepersj to be forgotten
and peace and good will established.
Everything and everybody takes time out for the Senior Ball. Peacocks
show off their splendor.
As usual everything is back to normal and zookeepers are forced to
exercise more discipline.
Day off again remembrance of Abraham Lincoln.
Those animals that like to make the most noise present Speaking Con-
test. Poor Mrs. Weir!
Washington Ho! Senior division grows restlessand havmg made enough
money during the year, travels to the Capitol to undertake any volun-
teered improvements for the country. Is it possible? No comment!
Easter - Stronger animals prove weakest when trying to take eggs from
the small fry.
Junior division makes first attempt for earning money for their Senior
trip by putting on a play.
Regents - Zookeepers can't take any more from Senior division so
tests are given to eliminate all trouble -makers.
Finally--- Commencement!! Senior division retires from A.C.S. Zoo
and the Junior division, while moving up, looks forward to a better year
in a brand new school.
