The Andrews High School Band holds their first concert in January. After an enjoyable program Jo Ann Thomp- son is presented as Band Sweetheart of 1951. She is presented with a bouquet of flowers as the band plays My Heart Cries For You . FEBRUARY After a series of games the Andrews basketballboys win the Seagraves Tour- nament, They are proud of the trophy and of their team. 495, An all school event, causing excitement in each building, is the Variety Show sponsored by the Spanish Club. Acts were taken from each building, the winners receiving a place on the I..ion's Club Amateur Program. Henry Burton served as Master of Ceremonies and the show was presented to all the school Judges were chosen from faculty and student body.
