With the excitement of the end of the year, there was the Spring concert for the choirs. The Con¬ cert Band participated in many area festivals and Opus 74. At the end of the year, the Band and Chorale prepared themselves for Virginia Beach and Expo 74. While the Band and Chorale were preparing themselves for their festival, the Mixed and Girl ' s Choirs were learning music for the Christmas and Spring con¬ certs. Some of the members were experienced singers and some were not, but there was always new music to break the monotony. 28
