DISTRIBUTIVE EDUCATION The purpose of the Distributive Education Training Program is to train students in the field of retail and wholesale selling. Mr. Bolton, our teacher and co-ordinator of the program, finds jobs for us suited to our individual abilities and experience. We attend classes each morning and work at our jobs in the afternoon. We are graded upon our job performance, our regular job training class work, and our performance in Distributive Education Club activities. 127

SPORTS CLUB The Sports Club promotes ideals of sportsmanship and provides a program of after¬ school athletic activities through which its members receive points which lead to awards. Our sponsorship for 1960-61 included the Homecoming Hop with the election of king and prince, the City-County Track Meet Hop, and the Christmas party for underpriviledged children.
