The purpose of the Vocational Office Training Program is to train students for occupa¬ tional competence. It is often spoken of as a part-time co-operative work program be¬ cause business men co-operate with the school in training students for office jobs. We receive pay while working in business offices. All of us are Seniors majoring in business. We attend classes at school in the morning, and work in a business office on a part- time basis in the afternoon. Miss Mary H. Goodwin, our teacher, helps us fnd work and observes our progress, which she discusses with our employers. As a result of this program, we graduate from high school better prepared to take our places in the business world.
