FORTY-FIVE Girls ' Sports BASKET BALL Basket Ball is the favorite sport among the girls of Andrew Lewis High School. Enough girls have entered after-school basket ball to form io teams with the teams being determined by the classifications in school. The winning team will either play the faculty or be given a special privilege. The junior team won this honor by defeating the senior team. SOFTBALL “Please let me play softball,” is a very familiar saying heard by Miss Larson. A great many girls show interest in this sport helping to create keen competition. TENNIS A single’s and double’s tournament was scheduled for this spring. June Crosswhite and Doris Lee Howell won first and second places. PING-PONG This game is enjoyed by many of the girls here at school on rainy days when physical education is carried on in the auditorium.
