Librarian THE LIBRARY STAFF The Library Staff consists of twenty-one girls who devote one hour each day to the library. They perform all routine desk duties, e. g., stamping and filing passes, carding books, putting books on the shelves, typing, and minor mending. They are not paid for the work, but they receive an extra¬ curricula credit on their report cards. The library could not remain open from 8:30 a. m. to 4:00 p. m., without the assistance of these students. Most of the girls who work in the library belong to the Library Club which meets after school on alternate Tuesdays. The programs vary from the literary to bowling.
