FORTY-FIVE - x Projection Club Mr. S. H. Watkins . Faculty Advisor The Projection Club is an organization which was formed for the purpose of operat¬ ing the equipment provided for the school’s audio-visual education. The club has rendered valuable service in this school and has also aided the student member by broadening his fields of interest. The Club was founded six years ago and has progressed rapidly under the direction of its sponsor, Mr. Selden H. Watkins. This club is composed of nineteen members at this time. The boys keep the equipment in order, show films in the classrooms and in the auditorium, make slides, operate the slide machine, and set up the speakers and amplifier for assemblies and other programs. They also take quite a number of pictures for the annual. Since no films for machine movies are available this year, we have not made movies of school activities as we have done in previous years. The girls in the club have charge of the secretarial work and of keeping the Projection room in order. THE MEMBERS Frank Robertson, Willie Robertson, John Scruggs, Templeton Norris, Buddy Walker, Virgil Frantz, Billy Paxton, Roland Woodward, Billy Colony, Peyton Shaner, Ann Draper, Jean Black, Lucy Humphreys, Harriette Rowell, Colleen Grubb. 4 47
