When city people move to a farm, anticipating
the enjoyment of the delights of leisurely rural life,
they find that they have given up such luxuries as
running water, porcelain bathtubs and modern
appliances for the pleasure of pumping water, bath-
ing in a washtub and chopping wood to fuel the
