Monica, a native of Rome, Italy, is a member of the Junior Class and she participates in many of Andrean ' s activities. She enjoys clubs, dances, and football and basketball games. Monica is successfully overcoming the language difficulty’. Although she studied English for four years in Rome, the real test of her ability came when she was forced to speak English exclusively. However, Monica found it not so hard to understand and speak English here since, as she put it, Almost all the Italians speak another language. Monica feels happy about everything concerning her American stay. She is going back to Rome at the end of June, but she would like to return and work for the airlines. My Dear Seniors, You have come to the end of your stay at Andrean High School. A phase of your life is complete. An important part of life ' s pilgrimage has been traveled. You have journeyed along this part of the way with many others. Some you have noticed in passing; of others you have hardly been aware. But some have had a profound influence on you ... fellow students and teachers. The full impact of this influence may not come for many years, but it is real nevertheless. Now you will leave Andrean. You will move along in your pilgrimage with new travelers. We hope that your destination will remain constant and that we at Andrean have helped in some way to move you closer to that journey ' s end. Our prayers will always be that you realize that Christ makes this pilgrimage with you ... in you and in others. Without His presence in your lives, the pilgrimage will be aimless and without meaning or purpose. And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life; and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life. He who has not the Son has not the life. (I John 5:11-12) And so as you move on, we call out the farewell common among Spanish-speaking peoples . . . May God go with you! Father Fred H. Sohn 38 KAREN M. ANDUSKI JOHN M. ADAMS RICHARD J. ANTOS BRUCE E. ALT MARYANN ARGENTA ANNA ALVAREZ DONNA J. ASHBY DONNA L. ATZHORN 39 SANDRA L. BARNACK EDMUND J.
