“
As years go by and you look back upon your days at A. C. S., there will be no better way to help you bring back those golden memories than a yearbook. In the future it may be a book that will collect dust upon your shelf; but when you leaf through it from time to time it will bring back memories of happy days.
Because of the wonderful help of such people as Mr. Kessler, Mr. Williams, and the entire faculty, the student body, as well as the townspeople, it has been possible for the Class of 1957 to publish this year’s MEMOIRS.
It is the hope of the Class of 1957 that you will enjoy this book now and that in future years it will help you to remember your days at A. C. S.
HERE NOW IS THE '57 MEMOIRSZlecUcatioti
We, the Senior Class of 1957, at the Andover Central School, extend our fondest thanks and happy wishes for the future to you.CoachEdward Stackwick.
Through the six years you have been here, your excellent guidance and your untiring inspiration have led our teams to many victories and brought recognition to our school as a place of fair play.
Not only in sports have you helped but also you, as a person, have contributed to the high morale of our school.
So, to you, Coach Stackwick, we humbly dedicate this yearbook as a small token of our appreciation.CHARLES M. WILLIAMS - Senior Advisor

Let’s give a cheer for Andover High School And let us pledge to her aright Others may like black or crimson.
But for us it’s purple and white.
Let all our troubles be forgotten.
Let high school spirits rule.
We’ll join and give our royal effort For the good of our old school.
Andover High School I Andover High School! The pride of every student here.
Come on you old grads,
Join with us young lads.
Andover High School, now we cheer Rah! Rah!
Now is the time, boys.
To make a big noise.
No matter what the people say.
For there is naught to fear.
The gang’s all here.

SOCCER
The soccer team didn't do very well this year, (1 tie, 0 wins, and 8 losses). However the team always made a good showing in sportsmanship and effort.

WRESTLING
A.C.S. sent four county champs to the quarter finals, William Shawl (127 lbs.), Dick Gross (165 lbs.), Tom Smith (120 lbs.), Leo Burgett (112 lbs.). Out of these four Tom Smith went on to the semifinals where he lost a one point decision. This is a very impressive record for a team that has been in existence only 3 years.
TRACK
Andover sent four men to Rochester, James Riffle (shot put). Norm Pelton(440), Terry Monroe (220), and Fred Hornbeck (mile). The Section V championships were won by Fred Hornbeck and Jim Riffle. We wish the team another successful season this year.
As we pass from our high school years we hand the Olympian Torch of character, honor, sportsmanship and ability to our successors in hope they will cherish it as we have and pass it, undimmed, to their followers.
