The track squad placed fifth in the Conference Meet at Memphis on May 12. Team Captain Dan Paull was a letter winner and second on the list of point earners with 40 points. Richard Rivard led with 54 followed by lettermen Greg Schuster 12-2f3, John Funk 10-2f3, Richard Burr 7-2f3, and Bob Gies 4-3f4. The thinclads lost seven men through graduation.
