Anchor Bay Algonac 6 Anchor Bay Menphis 7 Anchor Bay Brown City 0 Anchor Bay New Haven O Anchor Bay Capac 7 Anchor Bay Almont 6 Anchor Bay Dryden 6 Anchor Bay Armada 13 The Anchor Bay Tars continued their winning ways in 1960 as they swept to their second straight undefeated season to run their winning streak to 17 With 17 returning lettermen, the Tars started their season by downing ever powerful Algonac 13-6 and then went on to win seven straight Southern Thumb League games as they collected 258 points to the opposition's 45. Leading the runners and scorers was John Funk with 708 yards and 74 points, followed closely by Bob Stanek with 702 yards and 67 points. The Tar A forward wall was led by tremendous offensive block- ing and defensive play that allowed the opponents 770 yards in eight games. Fourteen lettermen, 12 seniors, will be greatly missed in the 1961 season. -P Il-I
