Anahi's Principal, United with Those of CONGRATULATIONS SENIORS Memories -what a delightful theme to select for your I960 Annual. It brings to mind the outstanding events that have happened in our lives, and emphasizes the importance of the present and the promise of the future. Your happiness is wrapped up in this theme. The foundation you have built at Anaheim High is but the beginning of what can be a glorious future for you all. Be sensitive to the spiritual idealism that molds character so well at this stage of your life. Make the most of the ecluca- tional opportunities that surround you. Strive to live up to your highest poten- tial. Recognize that your greatest attri- bute is a willingness to serve and be helpful. Do these things and you will have memories which will sustain you in adversity and bring happiness to you and your friends through the years. EE-Se-'elif PRINCIPAL L. MARIE STORY Superintendenfs Secretary I I 4 CONGRATULATIONS, CLASS OF I960 Graduation from high school is a won- derful experience-it's fun-wit opens up a new world to us. It gives us adult status. But it also requires that we make some very important decisions - decisions which will affect our success and happi- ness tor the rest of our lives. As most of you realize, there is a direct relationship between the amount of edu- cation that you acquire beyond high school and your ability to earn a good living. Although it is possible to obtain some education later on in life, most high school graduates find it easier when they have few personal obligations to make whatever efforts are necessary to obtain either additional vocational training or, at least, some college education, if not a degree. Therefore, these next few months you will make decisions which will crucial- ly affect your happiness in the future. DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT PAUL W.
