But it also requires that we make some very important decisions - decisions which will affect our success and happi- ness tor the rest of our lives. As most of you realize, there is a direct relationship between the amount of edu- cation that you acquire beyond high school and your ability to earn a good living. Although it is possible to obtain some education later on in life, most high school graduates find it easier when they have few personal obligations to make whatever efforts are necessary to obtain either additional vocational training or, at least, some college education, if not a degree.
