Ifavia IQIERN Sentsm The Girls' League was established in A. U. II. S. nine years ago, and has been gaining in pep and membership since that time. It was formed for the purpose of creating a closer friendship among the girls. Under the guidance of their most cap- able adviser. lllrs. Schulz, the League has had a most successful year. Ifvery girl belongs to one of the twelve groups which is assigned to do a certain work. Every one of these groups has worked untiringly and has accomplished much. This makes the responsibility more evenly distributed than if the work were all done through the officers. This year has been the third successful year of uniform dress. The second and fourth Fridays of the month are known as Civilian Daysg these days the girls are allowed to wear any dress they choose. A new uniform enforcement board is appoint- ed each quarter. This board has made many of the girls feel a responsibility of com- ing to school in perfect uniform every day. At the close of the summer vacation each Senior girl received a letter which gave the name of her little sister for the coming year.
