Last year's team was great, this year's squad is even greater. The 57 AHS 64-59 Snohomish
Seahawks went through the entire twenty-game schedule plus three district AHS 75-50 Sedro Woolley
tournament games undefeated. By accomplishing such a feat, Anacortes
annexed its fourth straight NWL title, in addition to their third Northwest

district tournament. They won 12 which broke Everett's record of ll. Individual records broken were: Most
points scored in one game Orv. Breckenridge with 34. That broke Jack Higgins' record of 32 set in '56.
Most field goals scored i na game, broken by Jack Higgins with 14. Most rebounds made in a game, broken
by Gary Heister with 28. This beat .lim Berentson's record of 22.
Jack Higgins and Orv Breckenridge were picked by sportswriters in the area for the All-Northwest Dis-
