f-wte wuHg 1986-87 he anticipation grew larger and larger as halftime was coming near on the night of October 17, 1986. Attendants had their last moments of nervousness as they approached the convertible corvettes. All eyes were focused on the attendants stepping out Of the cars as their names were being an- nounced. Everything had to be said and done in fifteen minutes. Many cameras were flashing and crowds were cheering as last year ' s home- coming queen, Qina Johns, an- nounced Courtney Sheafe! Am- phi students stood up and cheered their loudest as the reigning of the homecoming queen continued. Some students gathered around all of the attendants after the an- o nouncement to congratulate them. The homecoming football game continued against Sabino and Am- phi was lead to another victory of 21-6.

Rodyon Jones, Sang Yi, Lynette Price, and Joe Bakutis are showing off their float. The nearly perfect float by the Seniors was definately a winning one! The Freshman really showed their stuff with their terrific float.
