Wbtti N ? f ver the years kids have come and f § gone, but you see, never has one V r year had sucfrsignificant changes as this, 1986-87 year. Mow don ' t get me wrong, I ' m not against change, not when I have so many things to be excited about, like this new administration. So when I heard about Dan Alberts and his new administration, I got all excited, now there ' s a team that Amphi will benefit from. What, the students? Let me tell you, with two thousand five hundred and fifty eight students I ' ve got a potential a mile wide. That ' s exciting! I like that. 1 always try to encourage these students to reach the highest level of knowledge and self-esteem that they can. Even the smallest ideas haven ' t been overlooked, like the Amphi Panther on the north side of my auditorium was repainted, or this new bike rack a real fine setup, a high sec urity deal, unlike the earlier days of my career when the bikes were very susceptible to theft. The other day I felt this tickeling in my doors. What do you know? All of my locks have been re-keyed and boy did it feel good! For awhile there just about anyone could get into my doors and I didn ' t like that one bit! Surprise! Announcing the new addition to Amphi ' s growing campus. Our fine, healthy new science building. Congratulations to all the students who will benefit from this new edition, now, a message to you graduating seniors. I know you are all busy in you new careers and independant lives, but, well, could you maybe come back and visit me, the old school. A new science building was put in the faculty parking lot to accomo- date the overpopulation of Amphi students. Another security advantage here at Amphi is the new bike rack which jf gives added protection from theft. rr

Overcrowded classrooms posed an inconvenience to many siL.O ' :r,t- 5 and teachers. A stained Panther gets a facelift thanks to the effort of the Oladiators, a parent sponsored organazation. After many thefts from the Amphi Panther room, the whole school needed to be rekeyed for sercurity reasons.
