' ' 4, 1 I in - NN X 5 K , sae ae X f .ismiiii .-- --- ESTHER PARRIS Dean of Girls Into the capable hands of Ro- bert Hiatt falls the job of dean of boys, boys' registrar, and boys' counselor, besides being in charge of Amphitheater's testing program, which includes I. Q. and mental development tests. Mr. Hiatt is never too busy to attend many of our school's activities, and is the second helpful sponsor of the Student Council. A graduate of Otterbein Col- lege in Ohio, Mr. Hiatt major- ed in Education, Music and art. Ever ready to lend an ear to prob- lems and offer helpful advice is the well known and admired Esther Parris, counselor and dean of girls. A familiar face at most of the school's activities, she is also one of the interested sponsors of this year's Student Council. Mrs. Parris was born in Oak Park, Illinois, and attended the University of Arizona. Before becoming one of our popu- lar deans, she taught in the junior high school, and was also a P.
