Ball boys were ted at Hoosier Cate. s 12-Seniors vs. Bray in reference to decoration ot' the assembly. 15-Girls are wearing slacks and plaid shirts. We beat North Sa- lem. Student Council petition. 16-Student Council chosen, one member of each class from the last six grades. 19-Movie, Captain Caution, starring Victure Mature. 21-We were beaten by Brownsburg. n 22-Annual Christmas exchange. Mr. Mehringer was surprised. 1-Two sleepy students. 5-Beat New Winchester 39-31. 8-Movie, Room Service, starring the Marx Bros. We drew Clayton for the County tourney. Semester exams. 10-Got beat by Danville 41-35. 12-Beat Clayton 34-27. No school. 15-Wet snow. Seniors ordered name cards and invitations. 16- Seniors voted on using caps and gowns. 17-Betty Jo Jester gets burned with hot grease. Gib Bryant is back after being out with a knee injury. 18-We beat Clayton in our first game in the tourney. 19-Lost to North Salem in our second game of the tourney. Some 20- of our boys were sick. Danville wins County Tourney-Darn it! 22-Danville gi1'l visits school. 23-This date won't happen again in a thousand years. MEMORIES 45 CALENDAR 1-180 more days of High School for Seniors. 8-The Amo Aces were defeated by Avon in baseball. 13 15 00 .4 21 22 -The Amo Aces were defeated by Pittsboro in baseball. -Freshman Initiation. Amo Aces were defeated by Clayton in baseball. -Amo Aces defeated New Winchester in baseball? -Amo High School group pictures were taken, and the school was inspected by the State School Inspector. -Softball game-Amo 8, North Salem 13 Amo 0, North Salem 5. 27-Alden Thornberry broke his leg in the Pittsboro game. 29 0 .4 -Stilesville defeated Amo in softball. Shoes were issued to the ball boys, and Physics class ran smoothly. 3-Seniors had pictures taken at Porters in Indianapolis. 4-Seniors looked awfully sleepy. Is cider intoxicating? 5-Junior play practice begins. Seniors' proofs came. 10 11 -Order for pictures was sent out. 'tBig Rich from Evansville entertained. 12-140 more days for the Seniors. Oct. 13-Juniors have cokes again. Oct. 16-Juniors are working hard on their play. Oct. 17-Gib Bryant's birthday. Boys' and Girls' Home Ec. classes, Miss Horton, and Mrs. Bryant surprised Gib with cake and ice cream. Oct. 20-Junior play went over swell. Oct. 22-Seniors had class party at Snyder's. Had a Weiner roast and went to Greencastle to the show. Two Girls and a Sailor, Atlantic City. Oct. 23-High School elected yell leaders. Some Seniors must have slept today. Oct. 31-Paper drive started. Nov. 1-Sleepy students. Wonder why Jack Swan's car door won't open? Nov. 3-Pittsboro beat basketball boys 16-32. Nov. 15-I. Q. test. 36

Spelling testg Sophomores had highest average. Feb. 9-Seniors worked on annual and picked our play, Me and My Shadow. Amo vs. Avon. Perhaps we'll see a movie Monday. We hope! Feb. 12-Spring must be here. Feb. 13-Saw Ride 'Em Cowboy, CBud Abbott and Lou Costellob. Feb. 14-Amo beat New Winchester 28-26. Feb. 21-Senior play characters chosen. Part of Physics class were sent out of the room. Feb. 22-Amo beat Charlton 34-25. Feb. 23-Danville beat Amo 49-16. Danville won Sectional Tourney. March 1-Prof. Elmer Marshall entertained. March 6-Basketball Banquet. March 8-Dr. Joliff spoke to Seniors. March 16-Junior Party. March 19-A movie, The Great Gildersleevef' March 22-County Musical at Danville.
