Speller Peer Counselors Peer Counselors are trained to serve as addi- tional school reserve personnel to open and facil- itate optimal interaction among students, teach- ers, parents and the community. The peer coun- selor serves as an outreach person - alerting students for programs available, identifying troubled students, and steering peers to appro- priate referral resources.
