Row 1, Left to Right: B. Robinson - Co-Editor, Miss E. Berning - Advisor, F. Sullivan - Co-Editor, F. Seaman, M. Riscoe Row 2: M. Stewart - Assistant Editor, J. Little, C. Cannon Each year the WARRIOR staff is faced with the task of choosing a certain theme for their yearbook. This year the WARRIOR '77 was faced with the same task. Like the past years we wanted a theme that would reflect on our years in school, a theme that would help us to remember the good times and the obstacles we had to overcome to reach our goals. The best and only way we felt this could be accomplished was to have our fellow classmates express their feelings in their own special way - whether it be art work or a poem. I feel this was the best choice and I'm sure you will agree. Special thanks are given to many people who are responsible for WARRIOR '77. Your contribu- tions are greatly appreciated. All the hours of hard work and many headaches were mixed with much laughter and a lot of good times that will never be forgotten. Along with my co-editor Reina Sullivan, I would like to again thank those who helped. A special thank you goes to the one we could not have done without, the one who spent many hours, listened to and solved many problems, and worked right along with us to get this book ready for you. I am sure you know, I am talking about Miss Berning - Thank you. Much happiness, Betty Robinson Co-Editor WA RRI OR

Having lost only three people from last year's staff, the editorial board was experienced. Taking on six and eight page issues and widening the reading variety were some of the major changes made. With each issue, the ECHO seemed to improve with layout and context. Mr. William Ryan and Mrs. Muriel Dember stood by and watched the ECHO staff turn into a well-rounded, self-sufficient staff, applying everything that was learned last year. What Editor Mona Riscoe forgot, the assistant Phrank Cuiffetelli remembered. And thank goodness for Bill Rossiter, who was always ready with a drawing for a space filler. We definately cannot forget our sports man John Draghi who got the sports pages together issue after issue. But a newspaper is not a newspaper without a faithful general staff. A word of thanks to all who helped including Maurice, Knyvett, Doug, Rich, Jackie, Betty, Francine, Colleen, Richie, Alfred, Ken, Scott, Sandy, and many many others too numerous to mention. Many times it seemed like a newspaper wasn't coming out when deadlines were missed and paste-up days were canceled, but one way or another the Echo came out on time. And, sometimes, the pressure got to be too much, but the finished product made it all seem worthwhile. For the good times, for the bad times, for all times, the Echo will be a symbol of one of the outstanding achievements imbodied in the Amityville Memorial High memoirs and traditions. l ' vom.. 56 No. 4 Mona Riscoe W Editor-in-Chief ffhrank cauffereui E glam Dgfthlr 'X Assistant Editor . ports ' 0 Bill Rossuter Art Editor Contributors: Jackie Bayon, Brian Miller, Richard Blaustein, Nanette Elman, Billy Jones, Jackie Douglas, Maureen Doerner, Maria Barba, Renee Sullivan, Joyce Azukas, Nancy Bonaventura, Patty Grant, Francine Seaman, Alfred Consentino, Charles Rios, Scott Hunter, Colleen Doherty, Maurice Speller, Jacob Jenkins, Betty Robinson, Mike Richman, Sandy Robinson, Don Denzler, Ricky Camacho, Toni Bean, Beverly Chebuski, Kim Yaskulski, Glen Rebholtz, Richie Williams, Shari Wischnie, Ken Klassert, Dennis Siry, Ray Montelione, Monica Stewart., Steve Vitolano.
