Dear Miss Berning, How can we, the Class of 1977, ever express how we feel about you. Co- dedication of this yearbook is one small way to show our appreciation for the inspiration you have given us. You have worked with us not only as a teacher, advisor, and coach but also you have been our friend. Your patience to listen to us and try to help us and encourage us to strive to reach our goals has been invaluable. As advisor to the Warrior you have enabled us year after year, to keep a living record of our high school achievements. This job requires not only a highly organized person with time and energy, but also one who has the ability to work well with the students. As coach of the cheerleaders you gave many, many hours of your time. You instructed the girls in cheers and rules of the sport. You never failed to encourage the teams and to inspire the cheerleaders to cheer the teams on no matter what the circumstances. As we get older and look back on our years at AMHS, some of the memories will fade, but one person will always be remember by many as a true friend. That one person, Miss Berning is YOU. Dear Mr. Marino, We, the Class of 1977, have decided to co-dedicate our yearbook to you. You are our class father, our knight in shining armor, our class advisor and most important our friend. Words alone cannot express the sincere thanks that is in order for your hard work and dedication given to our class over the three years. You greased your hair and put on a pair of dungarees during 50's day and dressed as our 'frog' on costume day. As Spirit Week ended you shared our enthusiasm when we triumphed at the Pep Rally and again with the Homecoming float. You were there at the Donkey Basketball game and humored us by riding a donkey!!! Remember the paint you got on new pants helping us with posters? You knocked yourself out for us this year, didn't you? Well it did NOT go un-noticed. You worked to get our class united. You made our Senior year fantastic. You were there with unbiased criticism and ideas as we prepared for our prom. 'It's so hard to say goodbye . . . ', so we won't. We will leave this school with fond memories of our years and the man who made it great. To advise another class that will ever equal ours will be impossible, but we hope fif you doJ that they will bring at least half the joy we brought you. Again, THANKS CLASS OF 1977

Who are these people who will instruct us? who will nag us? who will punish us? who will laugh with us? How can we meet their standards? their expectations? They are the people who will direct our futures. Hey! There goes Charlie Chaplin and William Tell and a frog? Here comes 'da Judge! i They masquerade among us to show that they care They praise us so that we may feel a sense of accomplishment They encourage us so that we may strive for higher goals They help us so that we will try harder. They are the people who direct our futures. Why were there so many tests? and all that homework! It has all come to an end now and as we depart from high school, the good times that we shared with them are left behind. Who were those people who cared for us as if we were their own? We realize now that they were our friends - the Faculty, Administration, and the Staff - 1 They are the people who have directed our futures.
