EL CIRCULO ESPANOL
At the Spanish Club fiesta, the Circulo Espanol band struck up a gay l
"Paso Doble" to introduce the mock bull fightg -lack Moskal, as the "charm,"
and Nancy lilliott. as the "china poblanaf' danced the Mexican Hat Dance, the
Miller "hermanos," Alberto and joan, played and sang several Latin-American
favorites. Other program numbers included dialogues in Spanish. The Spanish
part of the Spanish-French supper was "arroz con polio" fchiclcen with ricel.
At the meetings of lil Circulo lispanol the Spanish students sang "Cielito
Lindo," "La Cucaracha," and "Amapofa"g clramatized stories, and played Spanish
games.
For their initiation into the Spanish Club the girls modeled mantillas and
carried fans. and the boys wore sombreros and scrapes.
