STUDENT COUNCIL llad you looked in Miss Steele's office about eight o'clock every Thursday morning this year, you probably would have heard Dave Yandersall calling a group of students to order. VVhy? You would have been looking in on a Student Council meeting. You would have seen secretary-treasurer, Nancy Sharp. jotting lown notes, and vice-president, Donna ulacopin, looking alert. You would have heard the group making plans for projects such as sponv soring dances, taking tickets. selling programs. decorating goalposts. staging a tal- ent show, sponsoring basketball and football banquets. and posting guards at each of the study hall doors. Had you followed the council members from the meetings. you would have heard them making announcements, and quietly going about their special projects. llid you know who helped the grade school teachers at noon. who checked lockers, straightened books, kept the rest rooms looking spic and span, kept the service chart up to date. polished athletic trophies?
