Next came the Nl Speak for Democracy" contest, which was won by Camille llenry. Lucille Witt, 'lim llertholcl, and Carol Wernert took first honors in the annual Prince of lleaee fleelamation contest. Spring proved to be a busy season for the speech department with the presentation of the beautiful llaster pageant. "'I'1,n-1 f,PlCN TOMB," a group of one- aet plays, ancl a three-act mystery. Parlianientary procedure, panel cliscussions, and debates were other proj- ects of the year. The classes also attended several plays in Cleveland.
