DEC. I6--The illustrious sophomores held a Christmas party. Mr. Al- bright proved to be a real square dancer. l really enjoyed watching Miss Steele jitterbug with Davy Leimbach. FEB. 9-ln Miss Murrayls chapel program several sophomores distinguished themselves as authorities on February's great men. MARCH 6--President Rudy Manichl contracted scarlet fever. How will the sophomores get along without his leadership? The girls will miss him too. Oh well, Vice-president June Zipp and Secretary-treasurer Nancy Mead will guide the class during Rudy's absence. MARCH I7---The girls' sextette rated excellent at the North Central Music Contest. MARCH l9l-The band concert tonight must have been a headache to Chet Gall and Bob Washka. Each played a solo. Chet played Silver Threads Among the Gold on his trombone, while Bob zoomed forth on his little tuba with Asleep in the Deep. He had me wondering for a while whether or not he was going to hit the last note. GIRLS Fll0N'l' llONV H4-fi to riglitl: S. n1'lllllZlll, C. Siiwulxl, I.. XVl1ite, B. W0i'lu-r. l'.
