"ln these few days of readjustment we hope to introduce thelfreshman to the social life of the campus, in- struct him in the difficult matters of schedules and credits, explain to him the various student organizations in which he will be asked to participate." An innovation this year will be a short summary of the history and the traditions of the college recounted. to the freshmen by Prof Frank Pren- tice Rand, head of the English de- partment and author -of the latest college history, "Yesterda.ys." Orientation week will not be all speeches and social events, however. After-registration each freshman will be given a physical examination and a. series of mental tests' and then photographed for the college files. Each freshman girl will he taken on" a. tour of the campus, while freshmen men are to meet with their proctors in dormitory groups. Students Enjoy Their Dormitory Recreation Room.
