In 1970 a bright, enthusiastic English teacher arrived at Americus High School. She became immediately involved with her students as people, andtor the past 7 years has helped them grow Q into competent young adults. She has been growing with A.H.S. since that first day. She has developed a loving loyalty to Americus High School and a sincere interest in her students. Her classes are a world of adventure and pleasure as she strives to produce mature, responsible attitudes in her students. She can often be seen making a second trip to her car to carry the extra work home. She always has a warm smile and a rare understanding for every person she meets.
