Coach King It all started in September. A Fall season to help prepare for thebig one in the Spring. Hours were spent inside the gym in the preseasong sweat and sore arms. Hitting a baseballf-?isn't easy at 80 m.p.h. Finally, the season is upon us and you have to forget all the achesand pains. It allrstarted in the warm state of Texas. Our Texas teammates didn't tell us that some Texans were bush? The victories came but so did a few losses. The victories we savor include the two over Tulsa U., one over Oklahoma State, second place finish in the Joplin Tournament, and one over Arkansas University. Not bad achievements for a school with an enrollment under two-hundred. The memories and friendships weimade will stay with us. The last game was the saddest. For a few of us it would be our last, for some, the realization that they would play next year in the uniforms of this year's oppositiong but to all of us we were proud to leave winners..
