The publication of a yearbook is a Herculean
task. Its completion is the finale to a year of tedious
preparation. Each page is the result of many hours
of careful planning by members of the statt, who
were guided by faculty advisors. The talents of our
editors were exploited to the fullest. The experiences
we have undergone can only now be fondly re-
called. We hope our ettorts have produced ci book
that will be well liked by everyone.

I
Coached by Mike Sebastian, the 1955 Garnet and
Gray team proved to be an impressive and long-to-be
remembered grid edition of the Bridgers. Utilizing
speed, desire, and know how, the team threw oft
the yoke of succeeding an undefeated team and the
loss of key players by graduation. Although the
Bridgers were small in comparison to their foes, they
proved to be a very capable team. Ending the
season with a significant seven won, three lost record,
the bridgers, nevertheless, were continually in con-
tention for the W.P.l.A.L. Class AA Crown, losing it
in the final game of the season. Each player will
long be remembered by all of us for outstanding
achievements on the gridiron.

AMBRIDQGE
Great!
Right within your reach is the power to make Ambridge
a great community and a still finer community in which
to live. Everything you need is here but these forces
must be marshalled by a fighting spirit to succeed.
Wyckoff Steel is very proud to have its largest and
finest plant located here because Ambridge has what it
takes. Here we have good people to work with, plenty of
room for our plant, for fine housing, for better schools,
for churches, for parks and play areas and wonderful
stores-everything that can make a community great
and pleasant. It's your job to help make these finer
things develop.
This company brings well over a million dollars every
year to you in payrolls and provides the livelihood for
over 1200 people in Ambridge. Other companies of all
types located here are providing a similar income to
this city. Yourjob is to make that income work for your
own benefit by putting it to use right here in Ambridge.
You can have finer streets and bigger schools and better
homes and churches and stores. You can do it by putting
your income and your heart to work on building a
sbetter Ambridge. Wyckoff Steel will continue to provide
its full share of support. Let's make Ambridge Great!
