Monday night for decades has lxeen Hi-Y night at Sandieland. The same was so in the l958-59 school year. Whereas in the past the Hi-Y groups had been divided into two or three groups, this school year there was but one club. The meetings were held weekly at the Young Nic-ns llhristian Assoeiution at Sth and Yan Buren. A varied program of sports and recreation is held by nienihers and faculty sponsors alike. The Fandieland group attends the regional and state meetings of the Hi-Y group in the liuilding of Christian leaders for our gIOYt'l'llIlll'llltil sy stem. They present hills for the Hi-Y state legislature and are privileged to run eundidutes for offive. llistriet and regional eomtntions ure held for the curly plans for this enterprise.
