Other FFA activities include public speaking, parliamentary procedure, livestock judging, land use selection, production awards. State FFA Convention and boar sale. V Keeping complete and accurate records is important in today's modern agriculture. We make a start by keeping records on our supervised farming programs. At the end of the year we summarize and analyse the records to find strengths and weakness. Alwood Burly qualified as a Superior Certified Meat Sire. He is Dan Johnson's Herd Boar. Many of the chapter members were successful in hog production. Testing the strength of a glued joint. One joint is nailed only and one joint is glued only. By testing and study we learn the differences in construction of materials, soils, fertilizer, feeds, and machinery. Construction of equipment rates high with FFA boys. Here they put the final touches on a hog house built by the freshmen. Other projects include loading chutes, feeders, trailers, hog houses and saw-horses.ROW I: C. Medley, A. Green, G. Price, J.
