Coaches Walter Minder, Stan Kittelson Managers Richard Lenz, Richard Swanson, Jim Sargeant, Dave Lundahl Lead the Aces to a Good Season In his first year at AlWood, Coach Stan Kittelson led the Aces to a three win-five loss season. AlWood finished fifth in the Corn-belt Conference. The varsity will have six starters and a fine group of sophomores returning next year, so we should have a fine team in 1962. Robert Carlson and Larry Smith were elected honorary captains for the team . Lyle Wind was elected second team tackle on the All Conference Team. Four other players received honorable mention.
