DIRECTOR: Don Riggle Here at AlWood our band is enjoyed and looked up to by everyone. We rehearse three times a week, and from these rehearsals we ready ourselves for the different programs and concerts that we present. We practice diligently for half-time football shows in the fall. During the winter we play at home basketball games. We preseni two concerts, and the climax of the year comes when we perform at Music Contest in the spring. Each summer our land, with the aid of our loyal Band Parents Organization, sends several students to music camp at DuQuoin, Illinois. This is beneficial to the students and the band, and it is enjoyed by every student who attends. 59
