Elffllllillillwlwlwlwllillllelllilwf THE KlTE VEIIVIQIIEIIVEIIIEIIIEIIIEIIEUIIHIVEJIIEIIEJI THE ALUMNI ROLL The credit for inaugurating the movement that resulted in the organization of an Association of the Alumni of the Franklin High School is due largely to Alva Otis Neal, himself an alumnus, who called for a meeting of those interested in such an organization to be held on the 12th day of May, 1908. At this meeting there was an encouraging attendance and a permanent organization was effected by the adoption of a draft of constitution and by-laws. It might also be noted that for the same man who was responsible for the organi- zation of the Alumni Association the Franklin High School was later named the Alva Neal High School. Alva Neal High School has sent many young men and women out into the world. Some have sought a higher education and others, although they did not receive more schooling, have done just as much in the world in some other way, and we are proud to say that from all these graduates fame has been brought to the dear old school. 1872 1582 Anna Feurherlnglll garner gong d H 1 . - Ella Leacx u er . oo sma 1 '1 ' Forsmw g2l'g'gig0fA1f5fe:10 db 'y nmeiwyn inner .malt M.
