ides know how for future professionals This has been a fruitful year for Altus High School's vocal music department. Under the leadership of Mr. Kenneth Cox. the Sopho- more Girls' Glee, Men's Glee. Mixed Chorus and Varsity Choir pre- sented spring and fall concerts as well as numerous assemblies for the student body. The Varsity Choir appeared in new uniforms with blazers fur- nished by Mr. Clifford Peterson, superintendant All members participated in the citrus fruit sales. The total sales was approximately $9.000, and the top sellers were Kathy Linimon, Patricia Sifford and Mark Hyde. Selected to the All-State Chorus are Margy Freeman, Ginger Tyree. Jan Gilmore. Randy Chapman. Mike Clancy and Bob Conger. Many of the students in vocal music participated in the All- School production, The Sound of Music” and a Christmas opera. Amahl and the Night Visitors. Seniors in Varsity Choir sang for graduation, their final activity this year.
