PRINCIPAL'S DEPARTMENT Council, cumulative records approved by Mr. Jerry Doyle Core of the entire school is the principal's ad- ministrative offices where teachers come for bulletins, conferences and supplies,- students re- port for admission and permission slips; parents call for information, and the general public secures data varying from open dates for the cafeteria rental to references concerning students who may have been graduated a decade ago. Mr. Jerry Doyle, new principal, introduced record files for student grades and personally sponsored the first student government at AHS in many years. PRIVATE conferences without interruptions were made possible in the new location of the principal's office. Mr. Jerry Doyle waits for his next appointment. INTERCOM system is important asset to Attendance Director Bill Starr in communications with student body. Usual announcement periods are first and fifth hours. INFORMATION CENTER bulletins and faculty mail are sorted by Linda Marsh, AJC work-study student assigned to principal's office. 22
