If Miss Clemon's hunt-and-peck system fails to work? If Miss Kindred ever really gets mad? If Mr. Peterson ever gets mussed up? If Miss Schulz understands all she says in Spanish? All young men had better watch out, for that familiar line comes from our grand English II instructor. Miss Kindred is also adept in throwing a scare into her Latin I and II students. fJust ask themj. Mr. Peterson--'This announcement, please.' This familiar phrase is used often by our beloved principal, our sympathetic friend and advisor. A one-man team, he sponsors tournaments, lipstick brigades, riot squads and fixes the trouble Altus High School students get into. Miss Young--'You're only a million dollars short in your cash? She is our commercial teacher and she really knows her busi- ness. Miss Schulz--'Now let's get quiet, please.' . These words were heard in History classes until recently when, Miss Schulz took over the Spanish department. Miss Kent--'All right, let's sing.' Our vocal music director who is well known for producing contest winners. Mrs. Buckley--'Now, boys---' Mrs. Buckley is our history instructor, She also has a reputat- ion for being an efficient study hall keeper. Mrs. White--'That's no good, try it again.' Mrs. White is our second semester dramatics instructor. She teaches all our aspiring young actors and actresses, and directs the Junior and Senior class plays. Mr. Griffin--'A over C equals the sine of angle A.W Here's the man who is trying to make mathematicians of all us Altus High School students who are thus inclined, and he's doing a very good job of it, too.
